Dr. Ryan McFarland is a board-certified Family Medicine physician who cares for patients throughout every stage of life—from newborns and children to adults and older adults. His practice includes women’s health, preventive care, and the diagnosis and management of acute and chronic health conditions.

He provides annual physicals, well-child visits, preventive screenings, medication management, and ongoing care for conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol. He also treats common illnesses and injuries, addresses new or changing health concerns, and coordinates specialty care when needed.

For Dr. McFarland, the best care begins with listening. He takes time to understand each patient’s health history, concerns, and goals before working with them to develop a practical treatment plan. Caring for patients and families over time allows him to provide consistent, personalized care as their needs change.

He also performs vasectomies and newborn circumcisions in the clinic, allowing patients and families to receive these services from a physician they already know and trust.

As Medical Director of the Hudson Clinic, Dr. McFarland provides physician leadership and helps improve clinical workflows, technology, and the overall patient experience. He also plays an important role in Hudson Physicians’ work with Oracle Health, helping ensure its tools and processes support both patients and care teams.

Outside of medicine, he enjoys cycling, hiking, hunting, and spending time outdoors. He appreciates the active lifestyle of the Hudson community and considers it a privilege to help patients remain healthy and continue doing what they enjoy.
