Jessica Blackford is a real people person and comes from a family of nurses who taught her the value of giving back through the care of others. Her grandmother worked for The Red Cross for many years, and her aunt is a nurse, who has worked both in the states in Papua New Guinea.
In her spare time, Jessica enjoys playing disc golf, traveling, photography, running around with her dogs, and reading with her toddler. “I have found that when I try to exercise on a regular basis, because I know it’s what is best for me, I lose motivation after a few weeks. However, if I can find activities that I really enjoy, that are active, I am more likely to stick to it.”
Jessica also likes kayak in the summer months and swing dance in the winter months to stay active.
