"Supporting my community through medicine is a deeply ingrained part of who I am," shares Dr. Morgan Thornton-Zabel, who has always been drawn to a career in medicine. Inspired to give back to the community where she grew up, she decided to join Hudson Physicians, an organization known for its excellent care and deep community ties. "My family has received care here for more than 20 years—it seemed only natural to join a team that I personally know provides outstanding care," she explains.

Trained in family medicine, Dr. Thornton-Zabel specializes in adolescent medicine, women’s health, preventive health, and behavioral health. She is committed to offering comprehensive care that supports patients through all stages of life, emphasizing the importance of preventive measures and personal wellness. "It’s an honor to get to know and care for individuals as well as their family members," says Dr. Thornton-Zabel about her approach to patient care.

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Thornton-Zabel enjoys spending time with her daughter, taking trips to Lake Superior, and engaging in various arts and crafts projects. She cherishes family time and staying active, reflecting her belief in the benefits of maintaining a balanced and healthy lifestyle.
