Dr. Helmen loves the variety that goes along with family medicine because every day is different. He values the relationships he develops with patients and families he treats. He is a Federal Aviation Administration Medical Examiner. Outside of work, Dr. Helmen enjoys riding his motorcycle, flying planes, scuba diving, skiing, boating, and riding horses.
