Hudson Physicians Supports Youth Action Hudson (YAH)
Youth Action Hudson has received a $1,500 donation from Hudson Physicians for their continued efforts on behalf of young people who either need help or have a desire to help others.
Youth Action Hudson (YAH) is a non-profit organization that believes the young people of the Hudson community are one of our biggest assets when it comes to serving others and shaping future generations. YAH has been a catalyst for starting new programs and partnering with other Hudson programs for over 30 years. Their mission is to empower and engage our youth volunteers to make a difference in the Hudson community through service, leadership, and education.
A Youth Advisory Board meets weekly to give students the opportunity to present ideas and foster creative thinking for new events and programs that will expand the presence in the community. These meetings are the perfect way to introduce prospective volunteers to what the program offers.
Starting in 2013, YAH began the Volunteer Scholarship program. Each year YAH awards this scholarship to recognize a student, or students, for their dedication and support of the program. A student must have completed one hundred hours of service over the last two years to qualify.
Hudson Physicians would like to thank all of the past and present volunteers who have generously given their time and efforts to help others in the community. If you would like to donate or become a sponsor you can do so here.
