September is Baby Safety Month. Here are some tips to help keep the little ones in your life safe.
Magnets: Small magnets can be easily swallowed by children. Keep magnets high on your refrigerator.
Loose Change: In between couch cushions or pooled on a table, loose change is easy for kids to put in their mouth and swallow. Buy a piggy bank for your child and throw all your loose change in it.
TV Tip-overs: Flat screen TVs can easily fall when on a wobbly console. It’s best to mount your TV to the wall.
Loose Rugs: Rugs can trip up toddlers on the run. Be sure to tape down all corners of a rug.
Detergent Pods: To kids, detergent pods look like candy. Keep out of reach of children.
Tablecloths: With a quick yank of the cloth, items on the table can come crashing down. Skip the tablecloth until your child is older.
